IT’S TIME TO THINK AND LIVE DIFFERENTLY – AND IN A HEALTHIER WAY FOR ALL OF US AND FOR THE PLANET

We are living in a time of great transition.

The old power structures are crumbling and crashing around us, creating a lot of uncertainty. The media and alternative media (both controlled by the old control structures and global elite who are losing power) are broadcasting many untruths, using blatant propaganda tactics to manipulate people’s emotions and cause fear and unrest around the globe. Scared people are easier to control, after all, which is obviously the aim.

But what can we do if we can’t rely on the news to accurately tell us what is going on in the world?

Hang tight. We have options. Lots of them. And the truth is, we already know everything we really need to know to survive and thrive during this time of transition.

Simply put, we know the old governance structures are failing us and that we can’t trust in the systems and institutions that we used to place our blind faith in to actually take care of our needs.

The biggest pinch point for many right now is economic hardship caused by skyrocketing inflation. It’s happening in every country and no governments or organizations are doing anything about it (and are causing it, and making it worsen with poor spending choices).

We have to find ways to improvise, innovate and take better care of ourselves and each other, because the institutions we have grown up with are not doing an adequate job.

I see this as a positive thing: we are in a time of great opportunity to create something new and change how things have been done to create healthier ways to live.

And we have loads of options for doing this.

It’s time to think differently and take better care of the planet and the humans and animals on it.

But this is a scary for most people. Many are very dependent on monthly checques and benefit payments from their government, or believe in the idea that their pension plan will be more than enough to live on comfortably, and that the health care system actually provides all the health care you might need.

People are starting to wake up to the reality that they will have to fend for themselves.

However, many people are struggling to know exactly how to do this. They are unaccustomed to thinking for themselves and don’t know exactly how to take back their power.

This is where this blog comes in.

I created this blog to help people realize their options and think differently and provide real, simple, practical and healthy options for living with a higher quality of life than we have been over the past few decades.

I offer descriptions of many ideas I have gathered during years of travel and living abroad in many countries on 5 continents.

Some of these ideas are about alternative economies such as collaborative economies, gifting economies, barter systems and time and talent trading systems that I have witnessed in operation and working very well in countries, many of which we often dismiss with the label ‘developing countries’.

Some of these ideas are about how to live more self sufficiently, and find alternative food sources even in urban centers and if living in small spaces such as apartments.

Some of these ideas are about how you can improve your overall health and wellness using simple and healthy means. I aim to help revive ancient wisdom that has been largely forgotten or compartmentalized by country borders. There are natural health solutions and plant based remedies to help with every ailment known to man.

Some of these ideas are how we can truly help revitalize the planet and stop the destructive tailspin we are in because too many of us have been asleep at the wheel and not aware of what we could do differently, why we need to do things differently or how to change how we are living. This starts with awareness and a mindset shift, and then with knowing alternate solutions we can do on an individual basis first, and then expand out into our communities.

I believe we each can make a huge difference and improve our lives and the quality of life for ourselves, our families and our communities.

In fact, we are the only ones who can do this for us.

I want to help us make this transition and become more self-sufficient with grace and dignity, and find healthier ways to take care of ourselves, each other and the planet.

To thrive in our current conditions and make a smooth transition to thriving instead of merely surviving, we need to cultivate the skills of resilience and resourceful thinking, first on an individual basis and then on a community basis.

To help you do this there are many tools to help you do this.
